After months of speculation, Prince Harry, Britain's most eligible bachelor is officially a bachelor no more, after Kensington Palace announced his engagement Monday to California-born actress and United Nations advocate, Meghan Markle.
The world couldn't be happier for the former bachelor to settle down! And we're even more excited to discuss the ring!
The stunning sparkler is a three stone engagement ring with a yellow gold band. The two outside stones came from the jewelry collection of the late Princess Diana, and the center diamond Harry sourced from Botswana, a country which holds special significance to the couple, because of Harry's many visits as a child. It's also where he and Meghan have spent a significant amount of time getting to know each other over the last year and a half.
Prince Harry spoke adoringly of his new fiance saying he knew she was the one, “the first time we met.” The nuptuals are set for May of 2018. This will be the biggest royal wedding since his brother, Prince William walked down the aisle with Kate Middleton in 2011.
We're wishing the happy couple a lifetime of happiness!
